Careful Questioning

I suppose it has been quite some time since I have bothered to involve myself with this Manorbier nonsense, but I was drawn to respond to the following comment that was attached to Manorbier Sam's latest poison pen attack titled "On the Question of Bank Signatories ":

I'm lost for words, Malcolm (sorry) I mean Darth Calver signing cheques that he had no authority to sign, what the hell is going on in manorbier council? how has Darth been allowed to do this? Is there some kind of fiddle going on? Is someone nicking monies from the council? I hope the chairman Tony Wales is going to give us all an explation, what's the former clerk been up to if she was the council's RFO along with Darth. It's about time Darth fell on his sword!

Needless to say, the truth will eventually come out to dismiss the latest drivel, but what did interest me enough to write this was the question: "Is someone nicking monies from the council?". As I have already said, the truth will eventually come out and the above comment will be seen as an unbased attempt at character assassination using the opportunity to suggest that there is "some kind of fiddle going on" whilst using the excuse of asking a "legitimate" question. I suggest if manorbier-stinger is able to make a statement that he is aware of any kind of "fiddle", he should come out and say it.
Now, I am making the assumption that I know the identity of manorbier-stinger - I might not be correct, call it a hunch. If I am correct as to this blogger's real ID - pay attention - if I am incorrect - oops, poor hunch.
There has been much "chatter" in the past few weeks amongst residents of Skrinkle as to what has happened to the funds of the now non-operating resident's association STAR (Skrinkle Tenants and Residents). I think that it is inappropriate for me to relay any of that gossip here, suffice to say that what I have heard lately causes me concern. Apparently there should be a significant amount of money sitting in an account somewhere, perhaps amounting to a couple of thousand pounds.
As the above method of questioning seems acceptable to manorbier-stinger then I figure what is good for the Goose is good for the Gander.
This individual knows who this question is aimed at, so here is your question:
Is this money still safely sitting in an account somewhere or has it been siphoned off?
In order to satisfy the curious and to quash the nasty rumours doing the rounds at the moment, I think it in order for you-know-who-you-are to come clean and confirm it's whereabouts. Might I suggest that the person involved send a copy of an up-to-date Bank Statement in to Manorbier Community Council so that this nasty episode can be laid to rest. If the safe-keeping of this money can be proven, well, it just goes to show the way that the rumour mill in Manorbier works. If there is no proof of it's safe whereabouts - may I politely suggest that you get a good lawyer.
