Confront the Bully

After the Community Council meeting held on Tuesday Jan 11th had closed, Cllr Davies was approached by a member of the public (Mr Cochrane), whilst still in the chamber. Mr Cochrane was most vociferous and somewhat agitated. Mr Cochrane had taken offense at a remark made by Cllr Davies and had decided that caveman tactics were appropriate and "offered" Cllr Davies outside. Somewhat surprised at Mr Cochrane's invitation to indulge in pugilism, Cllr Davies declined his offer and stated that Mr Cochrane was too old for him. Healthy discussion between the two parties ensued. Cllr's Calver and Meyrick intervened and positioned themselves between the two parties. After a further exchange of pleasantries, Mr Cochrane left the chamber and wandered off into the night - possibly wondering if his ego and indeed his reputation were intact?
